This is Part 2 of this project. Click Here to catch up if you missed part one.
The work on Jerry and Nancy Smith’s home, being built by the Lawrenceburg TN Habitat for Humanity affiliate is coming right along. We got off to a Jack-Rabbit start thanks to Hamby Construction and the fact that the wall panels were pre-constructed. We also had major contributions from Bubba Roberson and the Loretto High School Plumbing and Electrical crew, John Boy Powell for vinyl siding, Willie Flippo and Flippo HVAC, Samantha Moore and the LHS Skills USA class, Kent and Mahlon Fisher and Jeff Dean with roofing, and also Lisa Ezell who made sure the volunteers are always well fed. Yesterday, December 5th, Tim Clanton installed the vinyl flooring. So that’s where we are at this point. Next week we’ll be installing cabinets, interior doors and trim.
This is by no means an exhaustive list of those who have pitched in to help, and I apologize if I missed someone. Maybe I’ll have an official list after the project is complete. For now, here’s a gallery of images from the project.
