Overlook Lodge

So far, Overlook Lodge is my favorite Gatlinburg cabin virtual tour shoot. It’s also my favorite Cobbly Nob cabin to stay in.

My family was joined by another couple and their children for a couple of nights at Overlook Lodge this summer. I personally recommend this cabin for your next family vacation. From 180° views of the Smoky Mountains to a unique hot-tub setup to big screen home theater systems just about everywhere you look, this is the lap of mountain luxury.

There’s family sized everything. The kitchen, the big dining table, cathedral great room, king sized beds, even high speed internet. The upstairs bedrooms on either side of the house are connected by a loft that also serves as a game and entertainment room. Up here is a 58″ HD Plasma screen for immersive movies or video games. A pool table too of that’s more your speed.

We met the owner who is very nice. He’s in the process of converting the patio into a wedding venue which should be complete by the time this is published. So this would also make a good place for a wedding of modest size. You couldn’t beat the setting for sure!
